Born in Munich, Germany, to actress Veronica Ferres and marketing manager Martin Krug, Lilly Krug was destined for a life in the spotlight. With Carsten Maschmeyer as her stepfather, Krug grew up in a household surrounded by influential figures in the entertainment and business world. She graduated from the Bavarian International School with an International Baccalaureate diploma and moved to Los Angeles to study psychology and acting at the University of Southern California, further honing her craft at the Anthony Meindl Acting School and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Acting Career

Krug's acting career began with small but impactful roles, including her debut in 'Salt and Fire' directed by Werner Herzog. Her breakthrough came with 'Shattered' where she starred alongside John Malkovich, earning her critical acclaim.
